Asphalt Plants

The equipment used at asphalt (or bitumen) plants is subject to an extensive amount of abrasion as the mixing of aggregates, binder (bitumen), and filler materials involves a lot of crushed stone, gravel and sand that create extensive wear-and-tear on the conveying systems, chutes, chutes and cones that move the aggregate through drying, heating, screening, grading and other processes.
