Elbows
Engineering, steel fabrication and ceramic lining for the manufacture of elbows. Ceramic
lined elbows will typically outlast cast and carbon steel elbows by factors of 3 to 15 times.
All ceramic materials used in the manufacture of ceramic lined elbows meet or exceed the
following specs:
- Alumina (Al2 O3) content of at least 87%
- Bricks shall be staggered so seam will not line up to another parallel to the direction of the flow
- Standard ceramic lining throughout the elbow shall be of one inch thickness and pre-engineered
- All elbows except burner elbows are to be fabricated in segments with a maximum angle of 18º
- Burner elbows shall be fabricated using three piece miters, typically two 22.5º and one 45º
Classifier Cones
Steel fabrication and ceramic lining for classifier cones. Engineered to meet your specific wear
patterns and manufactured to OEM specs. Ceramic can be installed on inside diameter (ID), or
outside diameter (OD), or both.
- Alumina (Al2 O3) content of at least 87%
- Bricks shall be staggered so seam will not line up to another parallel to the direction of the flow
